Update on the Anhinga we when to visit him this afternoon. He grunted and grunted and flew off. Haven't processed the shots yet, but good to see him flying.

Grunt"thank you"grunt "thank you " think he said thank you to you he was probably dehidrated and hungry and got both when he could open his beak

Across the lake - this Cormorant never seems to move. He's always perched on the duck when we visit this lake.

We scared each other when I rounded a corner, then he flew to this shaded area

I was rushing to beat the thunderstorm. Luckily, I made it a half mile to a shopping center before the heavy rain set in. Had to wait a half hour before it let up.
