Thanks Ron, Rich, Mike and Kevin. I'm hurting today, but not as bad as I thought. Guess the riding and walk helped. A friend of ours has been trying to talk us in to a GoPro for a long time. Who knows, one may be in our future. Chris was practicing grabbing his cell phone and finding the camera button while he was riding yesterday.

Just enjoyed the catch up,looked like in one of you tree pictures the guy was using the chain saw above his head, wouldn't fancy that a bit of kick back and you wont get any more headaches.:D

Thanks Mike. He claims he does that all the time. Guess he needs a longer ladder.

On Monday we decided to walk through a natural area (Yamato Scrub Natural Area) we pass quite often when heading to Costco. It's a great place if you want to be by yourself, no people and no wildlife either. It's also not a place for the Tamzooka. We will go back, but I'll be using a smaller lens.

After what seemed like endless walking through a shady path

we came upon a pond with a few coots, moorhens and ducks.

We never checked the map at the entrance so we didn't know we would be retracing our steps.

On the return trip we spotted this empty Gopher Tortoise hole which doesn't look like it's occupied.

Same for this woodpecker hole.

Also on the way back, we spotted a bench and had to thank Abe's family for donating it.

This was taken while sitting on the bench.

BTW, my Tamzooka did freeze before this shot and I took note that it did it while trying to focus and refocus and refocus and refocus, etc...

Thanks Ron and Roy. Got out today, but only pedaled seven miles and walked one loop around Wako.

Thanks for the Merlin id Kevin. I looked in my Sibley Bird book but there were to many choices. She never moved off that branch, just sat there looking around. Don't know what she can find to eat there, because we didn't even see a lizard.
