Piano person from monday Aug 19th. Technician from Toronto I was working with in Montreal is voicing the piano hammers at McGill University.

D600, Tamron 28-200, iso 2500, 1/60 f 5.6.

He looks very intent... Nice job.. Please tell what "voicing" is ?? (You can tell I am not a piano person! :)]

Voicing consists of inserting needles into the piano hammer to create a cushion to change the tonal character of the attack and decay. This produces a mellower tone and longer sustain. It takes years to master...

August 24th We went and picked crab apples to make Jelly. These little guys were so colourful inside that I had to take a few shots.

Agust 26th. My girlfriend Line loves to just go into a field and bring back wild flowers. She did this little arrangement yesterday. Today it's cloudy and dark so I brought them inside, put them on the window ledge and got an HDR view. I kind of like the feel of it, but I'll let you be the judges.

Marcel as you know I am a romantic man - look to the photos I post LOL - I love your photo you posted - You captured it so well and the screen as a background was a great idea. It's like a painting which Vincent van Gogh could have painted.


BTW, your girlfriends has a great taste of flower arrangements.
