Day 239, Aug 26th

The garden's little critter saved my daily pic again today. I had nothing before I spotted the little caterpillar. Since I had OF problems the other time, I tried again.
I did notice that whenever I was touching it, the little orange antennas would come up suddenly. So was this a weapon or something else I don't know.

Not very much time for pics yesterday, so I'm posting what I got. Wanted to keep these people anonymous so treated the thing through heavy filters.

Had to get something better than yesterday for sure. My piano person project had a dog involved. I only took 1 shot:

Marcel, I like both of these but especially the first shot. It shows that you used a 17-50 F2.8 but your list of equipment doesn't have it listed so I would be interested in knowing what make it is. I have six lenses and my favorite lens is the Sigma 17-50 F2.8. Jeff

It's the Tamron. I got it before I got the Nikon 17-55 2.8.

I don't want to list all my lenses on the net. It's just too public.

Don't you guys have cell phones? I mean who still needs a watch:confused: Plus didn't you notice it's missing some important parts...minute and hour hand? :D

It's a good sharp shot though Marcel, with a nice bit of DOF.

Thanks, and yes, it is a Seiko 5. How long have you had your's?

I've had mine for just over a year now. I love the look of the second hand sweeping around. Plus, they're very reasonably priced for what is a pretty solid automatic movement.
