Caught these tiny little grass growing tonight. There are so tiny that I had problem getting them properly. I ended up with this shot.

Day 83

Spring is here, river thawed and temperature on the rise. Great to have some colors back.

Still day 83, I've revisited my tiny grass in my backyard. These are tough to photograph. I had to use the sigma at minimum distance + 12mm extension tube. The DOF is almost none at that distance.
But I make it look like art LOL. Maybe nice colors for some Easter cards… Anyhow:

Day 84, March 24th

Went for a walk to find dome catkins and did. Also some mud. Enjoy your Nikons!
This one was done freelensing with the 50, 1.8 D. Nice it has the aperture ring so I could select the aperture I wanted.

Day 85, March 25th

It was raining most of the day, cold and damp. I decided to get the camera out around 5pm and toured around my girlfriend's backyard. I had the D7000 at iso 3200 with the sigma macro 105 2,8 @f8 on A mode. I think I did good.

As I came home this morning, this is what caught my eyes.

Catkins again but this time with the sunlight. They seems to be a little sharper… Jpegs straight out with a bit of unsharp mask to compensate for the size reduction and a little saturation boost.

That first image is a particular favourite Marcel however both have gorgeous colour and are wonderfully clear and sharp.

Thanks, they are from a different tree but were relatively close to each other. I only ended up with a few as it was windy and a few are really not so sharp.

Summer's not here yet.

After last week's hot spell, the snow decided to come back to p**s us off. :mad-new:

So my pic of the day will reflect how I feel about this. Hopefully, my mood will improve with the better weather to come.

Fortunately for me, I can't do it.

I do have a neighbor who has a lawn care service and he gives me a discount.
