While cleaning up my shop I came across an old photographic paper box. My grandfather used it to store ivory clamps when ivories were used to cover piano keys. The box info shows that the paper was expired before I was even born. It shows an expiration date July 1st 1946. Long time before digital was even imagined. Things do change.

Taking pictures through a window pane is never the greatest idea. But I just couldn't take the chance to scare the deer if I got out to use the camera. So I got these. D7200 with the 200-500 @500mm. ISO around 1200 and shutter speed about 1/160, hand held. Shots are a bit blurry and I really don't know if it's because of the window or the slow shutter speed.

Yes I did.
I can see that the focus is not exactly the same on the front part of the mask, but the effect is interesting. The young one is my grand-daughter and the other one is my better half Line.

I thought the resemblance to your granddaughter was uncanny! But then I noticed one hand had nail polish while the other didn't. Then I began to notice the differences between the right and left sides of the face. Cool creation, Marcel! :encouragement:

What makes it even more confusing is the fact that I used Judith's eye to replace Line's eye. This is why you don't even see that there a 2 different persons behind that mask at first sight.

Daily observations. D7200, 200-500. This probably isn't the best walk-around combination, but it's a good exercice.
