Peacock, taken through a wire mesh. It took me quite a few shots to get one where the mesh isn't too disturbing.

Oriole from the backyard. 200-500 + 1.4 TC, cropped almost to 100%. There was just no way to get closer without scaring the bird away...

Snapshots I made last night while attending a Shawn Phillips free concert in Sherbrooke. Amazing for a 75 years old man. I remember attending the first concert he gave in Montreal 47 years ago... I guess I'm getting there too. :) He did mention this was probably going to be his last tour unless he wins a grammy next year and hi wife's allow him to go on tour again.

Daily pic at the end of my cycling ride (26 km round trip). I only take my fuji X-E2 with a 23mm lens in my bike handle bag. Much lighter. Anyway, when I got to the point where I turn around, the clouds were just too nice and had to be captured.

We had a deer and it's fawn come right next door last night. It was dark and I just couldn't go outside without scaring them off. So I shot through my office window. the exif will tell you how dark it was. the original files were dark, very dark as I preferred to keep a somewhat reasonable shutter speed 1/60s with the 200-500 hand held... Anyway, a bit of noise allowed me to take and get some shots.

A friend recently switched from Nikon to Fuji and had batteries that worked with my Df. I was lucky as I got 2 batteries for 20$ and he gave me a wired shutter release that works both with my Df and D7200. I was just trying it on the Df and thought of doing a selfie without too much fuss.
