I usually wouldn't post such a personal picture on the web, but I do consider a lot of you like family even though I've only met a few of you in person. But here's a look at my immediate family. I used my iPhone to control my fuji X-E2 with 23mm lens on a tripod on the kitchen counter at my sister's. Line, me, my mom, Marc with my sister Louise.

Close ups of our bird bath that froze last night. I was working on my abstract FB group's challenge: The turbulence of fluids.

My morning shot was done with my Df and old 55 1.2 Ais with a 20mm extension tube. 1/250s, f8 iso 1250. The thought came afterwards.
Quick translation for you: The importance of the word. The word can be pleasing or hurtful, the intention begins to whoever holds the pen.

This is actually my yesterday's shot. This is my father's service album that he got after the second world war. I usually take a picture of it on armistice day. Last year I included some of his medals in the shot and this year some of his souvenir photos from Europe.

Today was a Fuji day. Sorry for Nikon but I was going out to shoot ice and I didn't want to carry the weight.

Locked in ice.

So that's what the fence looked like in yesterday's image? Yesterday's was very unusual. I loved seeing the aperture blade bokeh from the light. :)
The result was good thanks to my new (pre-owned) Fujinon 90mm f2. This is the best lens I have ever owned. I just can't believe the amazing sharpness I get from it even wide open. It's presently scotched to my X-T2.
