A few Canadian geese shots I didn't have time to post before leaving for Nova Scotia.

Nice images, Marcel! :)

So I gotta ask...what size horizontal photos are you uploading? Yours are definitely larger than mine. Do you set a certain pixel width for the forum?

And simply because I see this off to the side of the message box--> :ghost: Boo! Lol. When did this emoticon get added?

I mostly resize to 72 dpi,1080 pixels width. As to the Boo... I have no clue as to what that is... I certainly have never seen it before. Is it only on my posts that you see this emoticon? I might get worried.

Could you get a screen capture so I can see where this emoticon is showing exactly. Weird thing is that after you mentioned this, I checked my security settings (clicking on the lock in the address bar) and I got a message saying my connection was not secure and intruders could see what I was typing or posting... I've been worried about this forum since we had problems that were intermittent a while back... After closing my browser and re-opening it, the warning has gone and it says my connection is now secure. I hope we're not getting hacked by posting here.

Marcel, if you click the Smiley face while writing a post, that opens the emoticon options. It's in there. As I am writing it, I see it off to the side. Let me take a screen shot and upload it. I'm sorry if you thought I was complaining about it. I wasn't. I just didn't recall ever seeing it before. Maybe John tweaked some things for the holiday.

Thanks for this, Marcel. I've been using 1068 on the short side which makes the long side between 1500 to 1600 depending on my crop ratio. I will try your sizing in the future and see if it makes a difference. :encouragement:

Ah, thanks Cindy, I'm relieved. I thought the smiley Boo was part of my post.

There are some leaves in our bird bath and frost has started to partially get it icy. During the day it warms up and thaw so it gives me opportunity to play around with my 105 Sigma macro lens.

We had a visitor this morning in our backyard. In order not to scare the young buck, I took all these through the kitchen window and one from the front window. Hand held isn't the sharpest, but I think I got the shots.
