Lightroom 4.2 not rendering previews

I have run into a very strange problem today.
I clicked some photos (27 of them) this morning & imported them into LR.
They import fine, card ejects fine, but i can't see no damn previews!

Previews are working fine for all older folders...
these 27 pics are in a separate folder, so not too much of a memory issue.

I have deleted the pics, re-imported them 3 times... still no go
Choosing Library > Previews > (either option) just starts the task & gets stuck on the first image forever...

I've even tried deleting the Lightroom 4 Catalog Previews.lrdata folder & that doesn't help too...

Any ideas?

I agree with Eduard, give that a try. And also try loading them into a new catalogue. The reason I say this is that Lightroom will not show a preview if there's a second photo with the same name in that catalogue. Could that be the problem?

I reloaded them into another catalog & they preview just fine :)

Awesome... you ended a couple of hours of misery for me!
