Hahaha ... definitely NOT doing it again next year or ever!
Also hiding my camera on New Years day and not going to look for it until March.

Keep going mate you are getting some great results
I am always tempted to try the 365 once again but I know my time is pretty short most of the times and I never seem to be able to take a photo each day due to work commitments.

You might find the 52 week challenge easier Scott. I am NOT doing another 365 next year but am going to try the 52 week challenge.
23rd December
Ok this photo was taken on the right day but only processed and posted today (12/23)
I was at a loss yesterday so went to the local shopping mall and tried some hip shooting. Personally I think they were all terrible but then this little guy came past with his dad and I requested a shot.
The final photo is a cropped version with some very poor artistic attempt by me as per what I have been trying to learn on Lynda.com. I am afraid I am not a good advert for them!
Why does my stuff never come out remotely like theirs?
For today and the next couple of days my image of the day will probably be posted late but will be taken on the correct day. I have parties to attend and will be staying with my daughter for a few days.

I had a bit more time today and took a drive to a local beach where these old boats are moored. There are an amazing amount of wrecks that seem to be abandoned but have signs on them threatening prosecution, hands off or risk being shot (only kidding) etc. Amazing really as some of them will never float in the calmest of ponds again, let alone the sea.

I took a ride through Auckland city, just before the late sunset, in search of I know not what.
And that is me up to date.
Not too happy with the processing of all of these and will go back at some time but thought best to get them up with the end of the year fast approaching and with it the end of the 365 challenge .
and to that I say YAY!

Yes I have one more to go and I guess if I wait 1and a half hours I can go out shoot the moon or lack of it and I am done.
However I am having a wine and in no rush.

Day 365!
It has finally arrived and to celebrate I went back to the same spot as last night to do a sunset
It has been fun but also tough with many a day where I just wanted to give up.
I truly appreciate all the support and encouragement I have received - thank you one and all for your kind words and words of wisdom. Niconites is a forum of very good people and I am proud to be part of it.
Now the camera will be packed away unless ...
I decide to go for another 365 and do 730!
Just realised that being in New Zealand I may be the first past the post. It has its advantages!
