That is the plan.
feed them and move away a fair distance and do it every day so they get used to the food being there at a certain time. Then I cans set the camera up and hopefully take a few candid shots with the remote release. Worth a try because as you say they are gone at the slightest sound.
Beautiful birds though.

I got the white for a friend arriving from the Gold Coast tonight at midnight I am picking her up, I got myself some bottles of Cab Sav that I will be enjoying after picking her up.

I think is Vixen. I looked over the garden wall and there it was. Quite a mission to get a tripod on the slope and in the bush where it was growing.
Pleased with the results though.

Good result in my eyes Lawrence. Glad I'm not the only one that scales precarious landscapes and contorts to ridiculous positions to get shots

I'm undecided about this photo but have spent too long on deciding on the final look so here it is.
I do like how the detail has come out of the rock.

I've got more from different angles so will go play with those.
And I can't seem to see the spots that were on my sensor - if gone that is good news indeed.

Lawrence, you'll find the spots on your sensor will show up on some shots and not others depending on what you are shooting and what settings you are using. If they are there. they will still be there but you may not see them. I wouldn't worry about them unless they really bother you or you find it annoyingly painful having to remove them in post processing.

I do like that rocky outcrop

August 3rd

It was a miserable day today with less than 10 meters of vision when looking out of the window. Eventually it cleared and I took some shots of great sky to confirm my sensor has dust on it. Not fun but at least I know where to from here.
There was a small break in the weather and this bridge at the bottom of the drive and the start of the property is about 1.3 kilometres away which is the length of the drive on a steep hill.
I just liked the image and took the shot.
I don't know why I like it - probably because other than clouds it is all I saw all day!
