Day 31

This will be January done and dusted.
My first photo this today was first thing this morning when I took the sunrise from my room. You can see that post here.

Then this afternoon I was running a bit late and in the end decided on the sunsetting on one of the local factories.

Talk about stepping outside of your comfort zone.

I approached this guy and gave him a few bucks to take his photo. He agreed but was still very camera shy. So it was really difficult to focus on his eyes.
I gave him $5.00 and he offered me change. That made me feel bad.
I have spent the past hour trying to edit and improve it using what I have learned about Elements 11. Sadly I failed badly and will have to work on it later - but am looking forward to playing with this photo.

Good job on the photo and stepping outside your comfort zone.

Looks good, you didn't fail. Is this full photo or a crop of one. I am wondering if you could do a landscape orientation instead of portrait.

Day 33

Lots of practice today and quite a few photos but …. too tired to process them all so going to give you a panorama.
The story is I arrived early in the hope of a good sunset but that never materialised so I did a few panoramas.
Hey practice is practice - and I got the odd flower and general landscape shot.
The whole purpose of the exercise was to slow down and ensure settings were correct before snapping.
In the end I was happy with that part of it. Obviously this looks a lot better at the full size but I am happy with the stitching
