I've had the same problem when photographing during snow. What drives me crazy is when I have a good picture nd there is a big, out of focus snowflake right in the middle of the photo.

I still don't know how to do selective color. When I do, you'll all be sorry. Hahahahaha...... The program is called Smart Editor and has hundreds of ways to pop your photo into a special effect, then adjust and add, etc. I've only used it a couple of times but when I'm stuck, I turn to it for variety.
