My setup is almost exactly like the one HF is talking about
BosStrap Generation 3 Sliding Sling Strap System includes the Generation 3 Tail. Uses a 1-1/2" wide Strap for DSLR cameras.
I looked at the carryspeed one and it looks like it would be more difficult to use. The tripod mount is added weight where the Bosstrap with Bostail frees up the camera tripod mount.
I think anyone who uses this type of strap will never go back to an around the neck strap again.
Also the Bosstrap is a cheaper option than the Black Rapid version. The only thing I do to all straps is once I get the length where I want it I sew the loose ends to them so there is no way they will slip. It also get the danglies out of the way so it looks neater
