Shots tonight are from throughout the evening. I had 2 bars left on my new Longer life (Gray) nikon battery and needed to kill it off before my trip to London. So I set out to shoot through out the BBQ. There's almost a cornucopia of different types of shots. Some with flash, some without. Different aperture sizes and even adjusting the on board flash (again to kill the battery.)
Hope you enjoy.

Ok so I'm back from my long weekend down south and can safely say I feel re-invigorated and re-inspired. I took over 1000 shot on my long weekend away and now is the task of editing, stitching and posting some of them. These are a few (that I've edited) from Friday in London.
This is a gray squiral, half way up a tree eating its nuts. Its basiclly out of the camera with just a little of sharpening and croping.
This is cropped, the I cut out the silver dude, sharpened him the softened the back ground a little more to make his stand out..
This is about 1 second hand held shot whilst going down the London under ground escalator. All I did with this was turn it black and with and crop...
Again a hand held long exposure shot. I got my wife to sit still for this to add a little more to the shot. I then cut out the under ground sign, turned the base layer black and white and cropped it.
This is a 3 shot panorama of the London eye. Nothing much else done apart from a little sharpening.
I'll post Saturday and Sunday shots when I get some edited...

Ok these are from Saturday. These are from a village called lindfield.
This is a 6 shot stitch 3 across the top, 3 across the bottom. then I adjusted the colours
Macro shot of a poppy but I don't know the variety...
De-saturated this a little to give it an old feel. though it would work on this shot
Shot of the top of the village. Upped the colours to make it pop. also worked on the sky to give it a 3D look
A pug puppy...
