It shall not happened again! No way…

Hello everyone,

I bought, earlier this spring, a monopode and gimbal for my long lenses:

Neotec Monopod with Safety Lock 685B
Neotec Monopod With Safety Lock 685B - Neotec | Manfrotto

and the Long Lens Monopod Bracket 393
Long Lens Monopod Bracket 393 - Two Way | Manfrotto.

Lately, during a shoot, I lost the rubber foot of the contraption and I was
rather p…ssed off (censored) by the 27€ that a new one costs as spare part!

I understand perfectly the reasons behind the design and the construction but
a note or something could have rang a bell to attract attention to this detail.

I have been looking for a clean, neat and cheap solution to solve the difficulty
and this is the result. Just three of those attachments and it worked beautifully
since then! I ask Olivier (14), my younger son, to make this shot for the post:

Have a good day…

Very clever! . . . you could probably market these  ( especially since the company would rather you spend your money on a new one)

Thank you for sharing.

"QC, does that mean he is from Québec?" Olivier asked. "Does that mean I can say
something in French?

Well, this an English speaking forum… Ok, a few words will not hurt anybody…"

Merci pour le complimant mais papa était mon assistant. <Olivier>

Hello Marcel,

I'm sure you spotted the mistake… but I'll leave it there… and kick his ass later. For
now, he just rushed back at his MAC to finish some shots he took today. He hates it
when I send him back to increase the precision of a stroke or fine tune a parameter
he has forgotten or over seen.

Have a good time!
