I have heard that they love kiwis :)
Its all that good food that they eat, fresh lamb and such ;)

Aslong as Scott doesn't intentionally want to practice his first aid.
BTW guys I am from Africa where I survived for longer than Scott has been alive so I think I am good to go ... :)

Don't worry, Scott is in training as we speak. He will be able to administer the anti-venom before the pain sets in :positive::encouragement:.

Cheers Vixen.
Looking at this one with my naked eyes, I couldn't tell he had so much colour , in the low light he looked almost black, but looking through the viewfinder with the 105 macro lens on the front, soon shows the rainbow colours.

I found this Australian Water Dragon near my verandah today. He is about 3 feet long.
Usually they take off at the slightest movement, but this one sat on this palm seed frond long enough for me to get a few shots, and even change lenses.

Lovely set of images, bet your pleased with them.
Thanks Mike.
I am happy with the ones I have shown here, but because of the low light where he was, I was battling very low shutter speeds, I don't like going too high with the ISO, because I hate the noise, so I kulled a lot of poor shots.
I was lucky he stayed put while I changed to the 105 f2.8 , then he let me get close enough to fill the frame, I got better shots than I was getting with the 70-300.
