looking for a cheap way to get my hands on photoshop any help would be greatly appreciated
Sometimes even Administrators and Staff can get the educational license/discounted versions, that's how I got mine.If you are a student you can get a discount with Student or Teacher ID. Other than that pony up the big bucks
how much of a discount for students??
My copy cost me about $300 as I recall. That was a digital download from Amazon.
Right now it appears it's $319.
My college student daughter always has the latest Adobe products, whether she knows it or not.
So what do they ask when you register a product for a student or a professor. My daughter is a teacher and I was always wondering what the actual procedure is to start using Adobe's educational products.
My wife is a teacher and I buy educational copies all the time. Normally you have to send documentation to the dealer showing that you are a teacher / student. With my wife we have to send in a pay stub with $ parts blacked out. Some need Student / Teacher Id if the school issues one. From what I have dealt with most are pretty picky to make sure you qualify for the discount. I got Windows 7 Pro for $60 and MS Office Pro 2007 licensed to 2 computers for $105.
It is the only way to buy software if you can. Not sure how it works in Canada but I would assume it is about the same.
You have to show this to the dealer or to send it to Adobe when you want to register it?

There is also the option to lease via the adobe cloud.
