Luck. As you think it is the live view switch looks like it is under the mode dial try switching the mode dial to various locations and moving the LV switch. As for other buttons just push them and gently rock them. It is possible that none of this will work and may require a repair if it is under warranty sending it to Nikon may be a good option.
If its an expensive repair you can look at used cameras, there are several companies the sell them with a short warranty. Maybe one of the new mirrorless cameras would be something you are interested in such as the Z50 or Z50II.
