Happybelated Birthday Jeff!

Hope all is well. Haven't seen you posting in a while.

Thanks Marilynne, I have been having some medical issues and haven't been shooting a lot. Thanks for thinking of me and I hope all is well with you. I will try and do a little better about showing up even if it is just to check out other friends photos on the site.

Hope you're better real soon! I'm sure your cameras miss you as much as we do!

I have been a little preoccupied lately getting ready for a photography workshop I will be putting on this Thursday evening. It will cover simple explanations for F-stop, Shutter Speed, and ISO, what they do and how I go about choosing each of them. It will also cover the different camera shooting modes. So far I have 100 people interested in coming to the workshop. I gave my first workshop a few months ago on SHOOTING WITH LONG LENSES and I had 25 people show up during a serious lightning and thunderstorm with flooded streets. I am just hoping this workshop will be even bigger and better than the last one. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I have the whole presentation on my Iphone 7plus using Keynote. It looks pretty good to me. I have a 15ft HDMI cord I will plug into my phone so it will come up on the big screen the church has in their large recreation room. As it stands right now 42 are definitely coming and 68 more are interested in coming, so we should have a fairly good crowd. I am looking forward to doing this. I am hoping that the problem with my Sciatic nerve will let me stand for the length of the class it has really been getting my attention lately. I will let you know how things go after the class Thursday night.

I did my "Camera Settings Workshop" last night and some people drove 2 hrs to get there and some 2 1/2 hrs so they could attend. Out club has been having classes at this location for several years and this was by far the biggest group to participate. We ended up having forty some people show up. I was very pleased how everything went and was asked by several when my next class would be, so I guess I must have done something right. I enjoyed making the presentation, answering questions, and talking with a lot of the folks that came.

This was taken a little earlier this morning of my granddaughter. Used my SB900 with a stand an umbrella.

Three images from a photo shoot I was at tonight that was outside in the dark. No adjustments made. Nikon D600 with Tamron 24-70 F2.8 and the lighting was an SB900 with a 45inch umbrella.
