That is what I was told it was. I'm not much on telling one bird from another unless it is what I usually shoot.

Overcast day today and the lighting wasn't very good but I did get one image of a Blue Heron. D500 with a Nikon 70-300mm lens shot at 280mm, F8, ISO 500, 1/250 shutter speed, aperture priority with center weighted metering, Hand held.
