Great detail as always!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Pat, a far as the detail the eyes being in focus will either make or break a shot. I also like shooting at F5.6 so I can get that nice blurry background and make the subject stand out from the rest of the picture.

I agree on the eyes... but I am also referring to the feather tufts on the head and elsewhere... Nice Job and the f5.6 is a nice tip!

Took this picture of my grandson last night at his pre school program. This was taken at the front edge of the stage where there was very little light so I ended up shooting it at F2.8 with a ISO of 6400 to be able to get it.
