Is that a motor farm Jeff, or are they in the wild?

Marcel, these are taken at the Gulf Coast Gator Ranch. I mentioned that and posted a picture several posts back. These are all grouped up because the guy working there was feeding them to help me get some better pictures. I had gone the week before and set up a time with him so I could work with him. If you watched Gator Boys this last season this is the location where it was filmed at and the big pond that each of the gators were released in that they went out and captured while they were here filming.

grandpaw, that is an amazing shot.

The only wild birds beside the zoo I can shoot are doves or sparrows

Michael, I have two or three shots that were taken in a zoo but about 99% of my shots are out in the wild, such as this one. The closest zoo to me is about 90 miles away in New Orleans and it has been years since I have gone over there for a visit but I'm about due for a trip over there when it gets a little cooler.

My five year old granddaughter was putting together a puzzle on the floor so I grabbed the D600 with my Nikon 70-200VR set the ISO to 1000 at F2.8 and took a couple of quick shots, this is one of them.

Very nice shot Jeff! BTW, Do you use the 24-70 much? Wondering how you like it now that you've had it for awhile.

Under normal circumstance the 24-70 would be on my camera most of the time but for the last few months it seems that most all of my shooting has been wildlife, requiring the longer lens. In answer to your question, I have been very happy with it the times I have used it.
