Why do they just sit on one side of the pier?

The water is on that side and in that section there is land on the other side for a short distance. The total length of the pier is several hundred feet long. They came up from the water side because I was feeding them bread. Jeff

I was driving down the road and spotted a nice flower bed with some butterflies in it so I stopped and shot off a few frames. This was taken with a Nikon 70-300VR lens.

I was driving through a park one day and spotted this little guy crossing the road so I jumped out and took a shot of him. Used a Nikon 70-300VR to shoot this with from about a distance of eight to ten feet. He is probably about four inches long. Jeff

Jeff, what settings are you using in upload to get full size pics on here?

I save mine with the longest side at 1200.

Next to get this size go to "settings" at the top right hand side of the page.
Next go to General Settings down on the left hand side of this page
Next scroll down to Image Resizer and pick Keep Original size and save it
From now on all your picture will view the same size as mine. Jeff

This is a shot of the Boomtown Casino in Biloxi Ms. This was taken at 9:10PM Taken with a Nikon 18-200VR lens. It was dark enough that I couldn't even see the flag.

Nice osprey pic! I have two buzzards living in the trees around the field at the back of my house. Can never get them photographed as the only time I see them, they're circling high looking for prey. Would love to get a good shot of them.

I was on a search to find some white pelicans to photograph when my wife spotted this White Egret having lunch. This was taken with my D90 and Nikon 70-300VR lens.
