I got overheated so I am only going to post a few pictures and go lay down. I will post a few more in the next day or two. Jeff

I have the crabs

I was walking along a pier when a man insisted on me looking at the crabs he had just caught so I snapped off a picture. Jeff

Re: I have the crabs

I hope that man and whomever he caught them from sees a Doctor! I give you allot of credit, it takes a confident guy to look at another man's crabs :)

Re: I have the crabs

I framed a couple copies of this photo and sold them to the first two people I showed them to. It has a lot of detail and color in it and is much better in person than it shows up on the internet. Jeff

Re: Gator Boys from Animal Planet on TV

I am shooting a Nikon D7000 with a Sigma AF 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM OS lens. I like all my lenses but the Sigma just seems to get the call for duty by far the most. If you check out my website, (see my signature below) just about all the pictures taken in the Walt Disney World gallery were taken with this lens

These are the lenses that I own and find this Sigma 17-50 F2.8 on my camera most of the time.
Nikon 70-200VR 2.8
Nikon 20E III 2x telconverter
Nikon 18-200VR
Nikon 70-300VR
Nikon 50mm 1.8
Sigma 10-20 Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Sigma 17-50 Sigma AF 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM OS

grandpaw, I merged your two threads since this forum is more for a stream of pics from individual members.

Re: I have the crabs

Now that the thread has been changed I want to clarify that the Gator Boys pictures were taken with the Sigma 17-50 Sigma AF 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM OS and the crab picture were shot with a Nikon 18-200VR lens. Jeff

Does this mean that any time I wish to present a picture that I have to find this one post and add it to it? Where do I post an occasional picture that I just want people to see? Jeff

Hi Jeff. Yes, this is the post for your pictures. So whenever you want to post, unless you want critique or it's for a week challenge, just go to Project 365 & Daily Photos , find your post and reply to add your text and photo. This way, all your photos will be in the same thread and easier for you to get back to.

Hope this helps.

You don't seem to be wrestling that hard on the picture Jeff. But from the look of your sweat, you probably fought a long long time with this monster before you were able to shut it's mouth with the rubber band. ;)

Marcel, this was taken after a lengthy battle and I have him worn out and have tied his mouth shut for safety reasons. You should have been there during the long confrontation while he was still fresh and full of energy, it was very exciting. Jeff
