I was looking into getting some Software to resize Picture's and edit them a bit,I want to stay away from Coral and Photoshop as I'm not an advanced user and I won't need software that complex and that's another reason I was wanting to stay away from them,I just want something that is very easy to use,I already have AVS Image resizer and it works good and is easy to use.

I was wondering has anyone used Serif and if it is any good.

Welcome, cant tell from your post if you have purchased a new Nikon camera,if you did give the View NX2 a try that came with it,as for photoshop yes it is daunting the first time but there is a great guided option which leads you through it,then it can be as simple or complicated as you want.
Not tried serif but photoshop elements 11 is available for a free trial so you have nothing to lose.

Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe

I love Lightroom 5 for almost all my editings. If I need to get super specific with filters, focus stacking, true HDR... individual pixels... I'll use Lightroom CS6. But for about 99%, Lightroom 5 is amazing. And it's a catalog too, which is a bonus. Go Wings.

Ok thanks guys I'll give them all a look over,I think for an Image resizing program where the Picture is not an amazing picture but one I would like to keep I think I will still keep using AVS Image resizer as it is really fast and easy to use and does not seem to hurt Image quality if you shrink them 3 to 5%,I have a lot of Piture's from days gone by and will keep taking more and for me saving some room is a must.

Hi Don.
I have downloaded and installed ViewNX 2 (64 bit). The thumbnails show up as blank (black) but the photo opens up in full screen when I click on the blank thumbnail. I have tried the 32 bit version and get the same result. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Michael
