Glitchy Images From My D750

Hi everyone. I am user of Nikon D 750 and after few months of using it I experienced problems with coloured patches and lines on my photos in high contrasted places( lines on the sky and patches on clear surfaces like sky and water. It's very annoying. I thought it's my Tokina 16-28 f 2.8 lens but problem occurs on Sigma 24-70 too. I checked my serial number and it's says that my camera is affected by flaring but I never experienced flaring as it was described. Could it be related to my issue? Please help.

Mine is affected too but what you describe is something else entirely. Could you maybe upload a photo so we can see the actual problem? It's hard to image what it could look like.

Is this camera fault? What can I do with it. It's very annoying. It happens often in underexposed parts of photos. Plus when I am trying to change brightness lines pops up

There can be different reasons why it occurs. I had it happen because of a faulty cam profile in post processing but it can also depend on how you shoot. RAW 12bit or 14 bit, JPEG and its compression? It could even be caused by the color space it is saved as. If you process in a wider space than the one you export to, banding could occur.

It's hard to say.

What you could do is upload a NEF to dropbox and some of us could process it and see if the same happens to us.

I don't think so as I can see it on my camera too straight after shot taken.

That's because on your LCD you're looking at an 8-bit JPEG which is affected by your in-cam JPEG settings. Your RAW can capture a range that exceeds what JPEG can display.
