General Architecture and Structure Parts

Exactly! This building was constructed by artisans when form was just as important as function. Trim was used for art's sake. It made a building a proud example of the architect's ability.

The lions? They're on the roof's edge looking down on you. Unless you look for them, you'd never notice.

People don't look UP enough. They miss a great deal.

Photo was just not big enough for me to see them. I sort of guessed that might have been lions. I love old architecture. The detail in the old factory I shoot.

Nice. I like the exposed brick wall and the sunlight coming in

The bedroom of Mary Adams. Circa 1858 it had an en-suite bathroom. It's long been gutted so I'm not sure what all it consisted of but pretty impressive for the time.

Mr Adams bedroom is on the 1st floor. His great, great grandson now owns it.

That is one Stately Bird House.
It was built for Eastern Bluebirds but they do not frequent that area of the Laurel Highlands. But i imagine Lord Palumbo displays it more as a work of art, than an actual working birdhouse. Besides the man does collect houses for a hobby.:)
