The old Indianapolis coke foundry is being torn down.
I played with a filter (brush strokes > ink outlines) just for the heck of it on the first one.

Had a question pop up about a 1800s whistle and whether or not it was still there. The stairs/latter that goes up into the cupola are broken and even before that you had to be a bit crazy to climb up there. Knowing that one side was open I decided to get the Tamron out and set it on a tripod across the creek from the factory and just see it I could get the shot. Overexposed the shot so I could hopefully see in the dark. I then had to really crop a lot to get just the opening. Pretty happy to see that it is still there.

The old GE complex in my city...........vacated for years, but recently was purchased and will now become part of a near $360 million dollar renovation project!
