I just picked up the white lightning mono light for Some wedding shoots I have this weekend. For the price i I can't believe how well it performs.

It's worth about 25 stops of light. At 1/128 of power it's brighter then my speed light is at full power!

I took a picture at ISO 100, 1/250 shutter @ f/16 And took a picture against the sunlight with the mono light at 1/4 Power.

The grass was white! Lol

WUD don't be to hard on me, it was all I had. We adopted a puppy not to long ago from a rescue and every since the first time I through the Frisbee for her she hasn't put it down.
I'm calling this "Love of the game".

Glad you made it! What a cute puppy :heart: And what are that plant on the left side of the picture, with those beautiful flowers?

​Thanks everyone for your thought, prayers, and comments. Turns out to be stomach ulcers just as we thought. Her regular Doctor also suspected and started her on meds before the test, so we have already started the road to recovery.

Like to point out how important it is to follow over the counter medicine label directions and warnings. This is a classic case of what too much Ibuprofen can do to you.

Ok I'll get off my soap box now and lets get back to Photography.

It's a mimosa tree, they get annoying sometimes because they grow like weeds around here. They can also get kind of big if you let them. My wife convinced me to let this one grow for a little while and see how it does.

since mine is not eligible, I will throw a low res copy of the 2 I did up here just so the regulars can see what I had prepared... (final post proc was not completed but it does not matter, I will finish later for my own satisfaction...) Hopefully some of you will like what I did.

Ok, here is what I was working on before I fuddled the on my 7100... anyway, fixed that now, operator error but the damage is done.. these pics were taken in 2011 (according to Exif) (in reality, 6/9/13)

Anyway, since this is the 1st challenge I am missing, I wanted to at least share my pics here... These were both for "Love" theme but I was going to use the self portrait of the hands (my wife and I). I was unable to re-take it after fixing camera date as she works night and I work days.. so weekends are all we had.. Next opportunity would have been tomoorow night...

Hope you enjoy and that they meet the theme...

The one with you guys holding hands is great. I can tell it took some time to capture, were as mine was just me playing with my pup.
Wud's photo didn't look easy either, and Rick's... well Rick always seems to make it look easy.

I would have had Corey said anything earlier... I just saw at 8:10 where he said this evening to go ahead, after 8:00 was too late as the judging was supposed to start. The only reason it was not entered was cuz the camera date was wrong (my fault) and showed it taken out of the "window". We did it Sunday, monday - thur we work opposite shifts so I could not even try to re-take before today (which was technically too late!) He asked a couple days back about my entry and I explained why I was not entering... It was not until tonight he said I could.. but as I said, did not see that until after 8:00pm

Glad that you an Mai (WUD) liked it, thanks! I appreciate that you at least saw it... Catch you another day!
