I wish there was a car!!! Of course with a Truck, SUV, 2 seat convertible and 3 motorcycles, dont know where I would put it if I won!!

Most important for me is to learn and improve and I at least got to do the exercises and learned from them.. I will finish them off anyway for my own satisfaction!!

Rick, thanks for the support.. for anyone who knows me, knows I have only had the 7100 less than a week... not everyone does though. Hey, it will not happen again!! I have already fixed it... so I will be good for the next competition challenge...

That sounds like a loose plan... at least you have a couple "models" for the Photo! Be anxious to see what you come up with... You do good with these types of photos'! I have learned from you on these and appreciate it.

​My how things have change in the last 4 hours. I have to cancel my outing with my daughter and boy friend. We had planned to go down to downtown Chicago on Wednesday and take in a couple of the Museums, then do a photo shoot of them on the Lakefront and use the "skyline" as a backdrop.

However my wife has to report to the hospital for emergency testing for an ulcer. I'm not going to sit here and make excuses, but I have really struggled with this challenge for one reason or another since it was announced, and this latest development is typical how our last two weeks have been.

We have been out and about taking photo's, but that has been mostly to keep her busy until we were able to see a specialist today, and try to keep her mind off the fact she's been throwing up blood for the last 11 days.

Thank you in advance for the well wishes etc. My wife is a sickly women and this is not something we are not use to. We will be fine, we always are. Just another chapter in the never ending medical book I'm writing on her.

Rick, sorry about your wife being ill... I hope that she gets in quickly and they can do something for her...

Looking forward to seeing your photo Shannon.. You have done some amazing stuff with that camera...

I have 2 or 3 versions of 2 concepts on my computer but never finished the post work once I found out the dates were in June of 2011. Ironic, the camera was not even a dream back in 2011.. Thats what I get for being stupid...

Anyway, off to to play with Lightroom 5.. have a set from the Weekend I need to get done and uploaded for the crew from PA. I will post proc my shot by Friday so you can at least see what my entry would have looked like

I posted this up a couple days back... have a date issue (or did) on my D7100.

"I regretfully am out of this weeks compettion... all of my work was done with the new D7100 ... but I accidentally messed up the date during the setup and it shows the photos taken this week in 2011, not 2013. (Of course the camera did not exist then) (and I did not have the camera until this week)

Anyway... I will not have time to start over and re-create this in the next 2 days.. (props are gone for one and no model for the other)

Sorry folks... I was looking forward to this one... it was tough and I worked hard to make a presentable photo...

Anyway, unable to re-take after I found and fixed the date in the camera... I had a couple possibles but when I found the date issue Monday Night, never bothered to finish the post work... I will do that tonight or tomorrow and post at least one in the forum here so you and the others can actually see what I would have submitted..

WUD don't be to hard on me, it was all I had. We adopted a puppy not to long ago from a rescue and every since the first time I through the Frisbee for her she hasn't put it down.
I'm calling this "Love of the game".
