I see I got the theme wrong, wilderness is untouched nature so I thought we couldnt shoot so man-made paths were shown, lol.

And I shoot dogs. Not nature ;-)

Great shots everybody, very well done Shannon, its a spectacular picture!

You have 2 many... I will not be greedy, I will take the 7100 off your hands!!! :)

Lol it's a great camera! In fact the D7100 is the most comfortable of the three to hold. Of course without the battery grip it's the least comfortable LOL

But out of these three cameras the D7100 is the lightest, and the most comfortable and easy to move around. The D800E has the highest resolution and finest detail, but the D4 is just a Frankenstein and you'll never missed a shot with it!

I am blown away by how fast the D4 is, and I'm also completely shocked at how good the high ISO noise performance is! I was inside doing some shots at 6400 ISO and it's mind blowing how clean it is!

So the D4 would make a great video camera because it's so good in low light, the D800E is also very good and lowlight for what it's worth however the D4 surpasses it no problem.

The 7100 actually fills my needs the best... though the CFO ha snot seen it that way yet!! :)

I'd take anyone of them, the only dslr I've played with other than my D3100 is a D40. Before that it was a Minolta film slr. I liked them all but I sure would like to see what a Pro or even a Semi Pro body is capable of. Hopefully I'll be able to justify an upgrade sooner than later.

Its a great camera. Whats the CFO?

Chief Financial Officer, sometimes referred to as "She Who Must be Obeyed".. More commonly, The Wife!! :)
I could probably get a 7000 out of her but I am not sure if I would regret not getting the 7100 down the road.

The 5100 is working well, I will just go back and dream!! :)
