Exposure Issue on my Nikon D600

OK! I am going to go off on a tangent. I know you said earlier that you don't think you bumped any settings. But, would you check your bracketing settings. It's easy to touch that button as you are setting dials. This might be your exposure problem.

Thanks for all the input guys, but I think I found the problem:

Some Nikon D600 DSLRs Not Closing to the Apertures They're Supposed To

The prong/lever that pushes the aperture closed doesn't look bent on mine, but is possibly stuck. Will have to take my D600 in to Nikon to check out.

Interesting read and not something I've heard previously. I know you mentioned only using manual focus lenses. Does the problem happen with every lens you've used because it sounds like it is a consistent problem with the cameras that were tested.

If the prong on the camera is busted, then the overexposure should be with all lense. You can check this by using a Nikon AF/AFD/AFS lense. It may also happen that the prong on your lense may be defective, in that case the problem will be with only one lense.
