Export Function - CS6 vs LR

Just learning CS6 & am unable to find the options i use with LR.
What i used to do -
Import & Edit in LR
for any cloning & things like that i would export to CS6 and then once done, save it.
come back to LR & export.

If i were to wholly use Bridge, RAW & CS6 with no intervention from LR, how do i replicate the options available for LR?
This are mainly what i wish to do-

a) watermark
b) resample to 72ppi
c) add vignettes
d) add borders

anything else would be a bonus

Easy, you buy a copy of LR. ;)

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm sure there's a convoluted way to do everything in Bridge/PS that can be done in LR but it won't be the one-button shot that LR offers.

I'm not sure why you would want to replicate these functions without Lightroom. It's a little like taking a step backwards. My workflow always ends in Lr because of the all the export functions. The only time I save/export from Photoshop is for composites.

1. For the watermark in Photoshop, you create a new text layer.
2. For resampling and resizing, you go to the "image" menu.
for 3 and 4, I'm guessing that you also need to use photoshop's layers and masking.

Hmm..
My thoughts were that if am going to be using PS, i would probably want to complete everything in PS
Or do everything in LR...

I ain't against using LR to finish up, but wouldn't that just create a duplicate file?
Now if i open in Bridge & complete editing in CS, wouldn't i need to save this again as TIFF & re-import to LR?

I think that by initially importing into LR, working in PS/Br, then exporting through PS rather than saving to LR and then exporting, can possibly make a mess, at least it would for me. Much of the beauty in LR is its organization and protection of the original file. You're going to have "duplicate" TIFF files no matter which way you go. Your NEF file is kind of your "pure, untouched negative (as in film)" I don't even use camera raw, just go to LR because the sliders are the same.

I think you need to set up a workflow that works for you and is simple to manage. For me, beginning and ending with LR seems to tie things up neatly and keep my files organized.

BL (Before Lightroom), I used Fred Miranda's FM Frames or mcp's Gallery Frames PS actions for borders. Both are excellent.
