Envy

Now this is something i have never before suffered with,until joining this forum that is,i dont envy members there gear or there ability,what i do envy is the weather loads of you get.I have had my new gear for a few weeks now and good weather and time off dont coincide for me,ime on holliday next week and have some trips planned but will the weather play ball.

I'm guessing you''re talking about fog and rain? I would so gladly trade you 2 days of sunshine for 2 days of your fog and rain!! My suggestion is to not wait for the weather to be right . . . seize the moment! This is the time to push your creativity a little . . . photograph raindrops on a window pane . . . play with depth of field . . . photograph reflections in a puddle. How about a foggy mist? How about kids dancing in the rain? or a twirling unbrella?

You may miss some spectacular opportunities . . . just like with equipment, work with what you have . . . a good photographer always makes it work. . . and that includes weather.

I know what your saying but over the years my interests have narrowed and i need decent weather to capture images i like.

How true; how true. For more more than photography, as well.
