DON'T Photograph Beavers!

On vacation last year we were driving through the mountains ans we saw a lot of cars stopped blocking the road. There was a moma bear and her cubs walking close to the road. People were out with their cameras. The bank got a little high and the bears were out of sight. People were lifting their kids up on the bank so they could walk up there to get a better view of the bears.

Some people and just so stupid.

Yep. Seen that before here in Mont Tremblant Park. Mama bear is never far behind baby bear. I dont want to deal with a pissed off mama bear!!

I think Laura (Lscha) tag line says it best:

"I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?"

This sort of thing happens all the time in Banff National Park. People (usually tourists) get out of their cars to watch bears feeding on berries and road kill carcasses on the side of the road. Unfortunately, stupidity is not legislated....yet!
