Thank you. I spent about two weeks planing the exposures and figuring out hyper-focal distances before I even got to the area. After dark and before the fireworks started I tested to make sure I got black sky and checked focus again. Then the time came and Shot the first fireworks and changed the exposure. Of well at least I was close.

Kind of hard to tell the scale of the rock formations. Most of these rocks are 50 feet and taller. You will see my wife in a few to give it some scale.

Old Railroad bridge built in the 1820. It was a toll bridge and was a double decker. Rail on top and street car on bottom. The bridge was in use till 1988 for trains and removed the end of the bridge that was use for boat traffic then. You can now walk over the portion that is left which is about half a mile long across the Tennessee river in Florence Alabama. The second picture is what we saw at the end of the bridge.
