Visited my Dad's grave today. I really miss him. He died in November 2004

I just was reminded of this post. My mom died 6 days after I took this shot. She had bought 10 grave plots decades ago and she wanted me to get the ones for my family and the ones for my sister divided up and the names of who owned them squared away with the cemetery company. While I was there doing that I took this photo.

Without my sister or I knowing it she had bought all the plot and had prepaid for both my sister and my funerals. She did this 20 years ago. My mom did like to plan ahead.

beautiful shot Don, my grandfather did that as well. He had paid for the complete funeral all the way through to ordering flowers. He didn't want us to have to worry about anything. My Dad died in 2010, its funny how many things you find in life that reminds you of those you lost.
