Don Kuykendall_RIP
RIP :(
Been watching videos and reading up on my latest purchase before it gets here. Thought I would share some of the more interesting ones.
The camera shoots full HD video at 1080p 30/60i and takes 14 megapixel still photos. The still photos can be in JPG or ADOBE DNG RAW. This was a surprise to me but a very good surprise. A lens profile released by Adobe for DJI Phantom 2 Vision's camera can be used to remove lens distortion. Again, a surprise. The camera also accepts 46mm filters so I have to figure out what filters will work for this. I am thinking CPL but how would I set it when I will not be on the camera when it is shooting.
Also another great feature of this drone is that you can preset the flight path with up to 16 waypoints before you take off using the app on your phone and google maps. IT will then take off and fly the route including elevations while you just control the camera controls. When it gets through the flight plan it comes back and lands itself. Pretty cool. And if you are flying manual controls and you try to fly it past the controls max distance it will turn around and fly back to you and land. Even if you have moved from where you started. If you are in manual mode and you let go of the controls it will stop and hover where it is.
I will be adding videos and photos as I make them. I think this is going to be fun. [h=1][/h]
