stupid attachment....i cancelled the first post to fix the spot...and....it kept it there. Dumb....

You can delete the attachment in advanced edit. Just need to scroll down to "Manage attachments" or something like that.

But I did brave the rain with the D610! Couldn't go far...so made it back to the rose bushes. I know...not more roses.....

But for some reason these rose bushes have really captured me attention. And its perfect practice on a dreary day.

I have also been doing somethig different with my editing and keeping it all in LR. Trying for a more shadowed softer look. But with huge pops of color.

You have used flash for these, right?
May I ask what you use for diffusion and how you do it? I really struggle with lighting macro, but you do a great job!

i had made my own diffuser but Meeka quickly unmade it for me the other day. So I just used the onboard flash turned down to -3.00 without diffuser. That's it. Then recovered some highlights in post. Darkened shadows, darkened the blacks, and then bumped contrast a bit. Or you can just hold up some plain white paper with the flash turned down too.

I am thinking about getting a ring flash to toy with.
