I am really liking the D610's ability to recover blown highlights. Shooting with just the pop up flash can really be a pain. But the sensor in this thing is just amazing. I have noticed though that it will over saturate the reds and purples at times though. I have actually had to desaturated a few flower shots to get them back to looking like flowers.

Also I have been on this kick darkening my blacks and over embellishing the shadows and such to try and make the flower pop more. Sometimes it appears I can over do it. Just something I am playing with. Thanks for all the feedback to let me know I may be heading in the right direction! I really appreciate it.

another beautiful group! your lighting and clarity is absolutely stunning. love looking at them all.

Thank you! I am just using the on board flash on the D610 turned down to -3.00. With the 50 1.8D and Raynox DCR-250. Its a great combo.

I am glad you are enjoying my thread!

With all the rain, they have been coming out by the dozens. It's been crazy. I got pretty close and then cropped it in a bit.

The yellow rose from my mothers fiancées late mother. She passed a couple weeks ago after putting up a hell of a fight.
