Went to Carillon Park in Dayton Ohio.

The bell tower.

Looking almost straight up from the base.

Clouds came rolling in, so I got moody.

A closer look at the bells.

It is what the D610 recorded. That wall is actually more of a tan. But the camera saw orange....and the more I tinkered with it the more I messed up the color of the monitor. So I left it orange.

But on a funny note. This room used to have a copper colored wall. The one in the image in fact.

Looove those Carillon Park images. Superb Deezey :)

Thank you wud. It was fun until the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up. I can't wait to get back there when the weather breaks.

Should be an easy guess. Felt good not to neglect my D90. I am thinking when I get some free monies, it will be going out for an IR conversion.

I work in the anesthesia department of a hospital. I am in and out of operating rooms and traumas all day long. There isn't much I haven't seen. And there has been a lot that a even a stiff drink couldn't erase.

Great shots.

And great work in what you do. I work in Emergency Services and can relate to the stiff drink not working.

So everyone, today March 5th marks my first year being a Nikonite!

I would like to take the time to thank everyone that has helped me along on my first year with a Nikon dSLR. A big thank you for answering my questions I know you all have heard hundreds of times before me. For taking the time to view my photos and leaving comments. This community has really helped me along in this first leg of my photographic journey. Not only in helping me take better photographs but also in becoming a better photographer. So a very big thank you!

I would also like to thank those members who have not even spoken or even joined in on threads with me. Every photo, and I do mean everyones work either the photos themselves or just the processing job done to them. Has pushed me to become more creative and to really start paying attention to what is in my viewfinder. It has really shown me how many different creative ways there is to get pleasure out of this hobby. So a big thank you to you too!

Here is to many more years of being a Nikonite!! Lets have another awesome year!

I deal with your counterparts more often than I wish. You get what i call the feel good shot and then sort of remember going into another room and that's it, you wake up wondering if the surgery is over yet only to then feel the pain coming from -------. I think your department is my favorite.

Hahaha. yeah. I am just a tech, so I don't get to give the shots. (takes 8 years to be able to do that) I only come in during emergencies. It is usually when SHTF moments and the Anesthesiologist is getting overwhelmed. I do a lot of the behind the scenes stuff to help make things run smoother.

Nah. Can't. Spent too much money. And the gf would kill me if I tried to switch now. Besides, I like it here!

Nice shots Doug.
How did you manage to get the one in the air? Its a pity though that it wasn't spinning a bit more

Is this a case of "You must have a great camera …"? ;)
