Not a part of the 365. These were from previous shoots. But I liked them enough to process and stick them in my thread.

First one was from my water drop shoot.

And this was me trying to get artsy on the feather shoot.

Day 28/365!

This is why I don't even think these things are acceptable for even ears! And in no way should they ever touch you camera sensor!!!

You really know how to show a different perspective on everyday things. I like the challenge to figure out what it is. Cool shot.

Thanks Kevin. It is getting harder and harder to find stuff. The challenge now is just trying to put an interesting spin on my subjects. I have run through the easy stuff.....now it becomes a treasure hunt.

I agree with Kevin! I'm really liking the cool close ups with everyday things, giving them a new interesting perspective! Way to go bud! :D

Well I can't give it away. Hopefully it gets here in time for tomorrows photo of the day. I will be bummed if it doesn't.

SHOW OFF! I'm "BIG TIME" jealous! Settled myself to upgrading to the D7100, hopefully in less than a year... then some day...

Enjoy that new toy; looking forward to MANY test shots!

Thank you. I am extremely excited.

Woohoo! Congrats my friend! I'm so happy for you buddy! :D

Thanks Bill!!

My choice was between the D800 and the D610. After sitting down and making a list of what I wanted vs. what I needed, the D610 actually came out on top. While I really enjoy the landscape and bird photography, I am also finding myself looking for more of the candid and opportunistic shots. Also after playing with both cameras in the real world, the D610 just fit better with the shots I was taking.

I am very happy with my choice of new FX camera. I am expecting quite a few years of photographic bliss ahead. After really sitting down and going over my lists and things, I can honestly say I have no regrets over my decision.
