Great work! You seem to be coping well with the cabin fever.

I am trying.

On a side note. Buying the close up filter during winter was a stupid idea. I am really wanting to go shoot wild flowers. And if I just buy flowers and throw them in a vase my gf will kill me if she catches me photographing them.

:) do you know when that switch has been? I like the effect of the second shot, imo it needs work. Light on left side just stops and the angle feels wrong.

The edge that you see is the actual door frame being lit at a closer zoom, this happens when you zoom while shooting.

Please duplicate anything you see in my thread. It's really fun to bounce ideas off of people. And to see what direction their creativity takes them. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

And I complement my girlfriend all the time. All I get is the ole eye roll....go figure.

Very nice effect! Cabin fever sucks. But, hey, spring is, how far away?

We are getting blasted again this weekend. Monday will be around -18f. Good thing liquor doesn't freeze....I am going to need it if this cabin fever keeps going. I am down to 5.5 mason jars.......

So....it is Saturday....and that means it is Touristy iPad Day! And since I know you have waited all week for this figurine shot, I did something special and used the DCR-250 as a magnifying glass!

So here it is! Day 25/365.

It still amazes me people use these things instead of a traditional camera. I guess In super bright light it is ok, but jeez this thing takes a horrible photo. My laptop is still out of action, so when I am away from the house on Saturdays you all get this.
