Cool shot, but it looks like you need a few more rocks to hide the grate better. I love fountains like this type!

Ooops I missed the text where you said you were showing us the grate on purpose! Lol Please ignore my lacking rocks comment!

Here is a peak at the grating that the rocks sit on. Underneath is a small pond that I put into the ground. Then the tube for the pump goes into a hole i bored threw the lava rock. I think I wrote something about it a few pages ago in this thread. These things can be made as elaborate as you could ever want.

Not so much as off in the photo but in how I took the photo. I had to do a lot of processing to get it to look like that. I tried under exposing in the some shots but somehow the D90 lost petal detail.

I just couldn't seem to get the D90 to grab the detail I wanted in the light I had. Low light shots are still something both I and the D90 seem to struggle with.

But the processing outcome I am happy with. Just not how much it took to get to the final image.

I was walking by and the contrast of colors between the living and dying stalks caught my eye. I had to give it a go.

I really liked the look of this shot. Topsy Turvy look to it.

I enjoyed looking at the clouds so much I had to capture them. I also like how the clouds simulate the trees below. For me at least.

Something about the contrast of light grasses and darker grasses made me give this a go in Black and White.
