I returned to Scripps pier this evening to capture the sun between the pylons. I've not finished working them up but after the sun went below the horizon the sky lit up nicely. Here's just one many images I was lucky enough to get tonight

24-70mm, f-6.3; ISO-100; 5 image HDR, 1 stop ea.

Nice contrast between going from incredible sunset lighting to this geometrical city view in black and white. Nice dramatic city shot and those pier shots are, well, without peer. ;)

Though I'm constantly reminded that on the back end of all this post-winter yard prep work there's something I've been meaning to do, I seem to get more bitter about missing out every time I stop by this thread. Gorgeous work!!
