Only one shot today. Kind of dreary here and I am wore out. Drove to Lexington and picked up a new lens. Tamron 70-200 without VC. Seems to be a nice lens.

First shots are of my wife Pat. stopped at her office on the way home. Impromptu portrait.

Playing with the new lens a bit. Just to get familiar. Typical fall weather today. I love it but the sky is a bit gray.

your new lens isnt as heavy as the 200-500, correct Danno?

where are the food shots from the Lake Side? i am hungry. lol

No, it is not as heavy. I do like it a lot, but I am not getting to play with it as much as I want to. Just a bit shaky the last couple days.

Sorry about the food shots missing. I was hungry :)

Sundays are always intense for me. I did use the 70-200 for a baptism at church this morning and it did well. Jersey is getting tired of the camera. Then clouds was all I could get this afternoon. Time to rest...

03, October, 2016 - Trying out my 70-200. Looks like this too will be a monopod lens for me. I shake so badly. But I do like it when I can get a steady hand... even for a moment.

I was on the porch fooling with depth of field and other settings just to get familiar with my lens... took some pictures of this and that to see how it went when for the first time I saw a Hummingbird. None of the settings are close to right... but I had to post it. Maybe I will be ready next time I am on the porch... at least one showed up.

LOL remember the commercial fitting another car in the Hatch back :D Oops wrong one the Pacer was the commercial I was thinking of :confused:

My daughter moved back to Kentucky this summer. She has not lived here since she was 14 and shes a bit older now ;)

She is a social studies teacher for 7th grade and on break this week so I took her to the capital... So Capital photos today... Just saw that the challenge starting tomorrow is leading lines... just my timing... :D
