Rainy day today. Porch sitting was not rendering much, but overcast. I was about to give up when I had a new visitor, and his sergeant at arms a Blue Jay. The Jay kept watch as the other ate... :)

Thanks Roy. I need a bird book I guess. I never did id them before. I thought that those were wax wings.

Haaaa, yeah am I am a little obsessed with the waxwings.
They are migrating out of here. I am not seeing them as much now.
I was surprised by them. There were about 10 or more in the top of that dead tree. Only one came down and shared with one of the others. I will try some mill worms. Even if they don't like it someone will.

They are hard to miss. They travel in large flocks and make a lot of noise.
