Spring in the bluegrass. We get a lot of press for our horses. Cattle is the cash industry. A bunch of new calves on the farm across the lane. Just getting there legs. They cannot decide whether to hop or run. When I was a kid and one of the calves would get out it was my job to catch em. I was given a piece of bailing twine to lead them back to the pasture. Had to be a site. When I got done and got to the porch my grandfather was still laughing a little...

Sorry for whining @mikew. Yesterday was by far the best day we have had so far this year... mid 70s and a light breeze with sunshine and clouds. Perfect day to take photos... but I was not up to it so I was whining a bit. Sorry bout that... Hope the rain clears.

Well, it is officially spring... it is raining and where once was a curly haired dog is not a high and tight little dog. But she is panting less :encouragement:
I have a tough time getting her to sit still. She thinks I am mad at her when I try to pose her... so this is the best I can get. We need to go out and get the mail even if it is raining

My least favorite buzzard... They fly around home and actually have been known to attack cattle giving birth.
Kentucky River flowing thru Frankfort. The blueish bridge in the back is the singing bridge. it has an open grate deck that makes a singing noise when cars cross. Motorcycles... it is kinda like riding on ice, but that can be fun too.

In the house mostly today. Got out only a little to take the dog out. Just not up to snuff and had to do some stuff around the house.
Mom came over from Lexington and hung out with us while we did some things around the house... Jersey was not happy to see her go. I know the focus is not the best on the second shot, but have you ever seen a sadder dog...
Took some picks of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza statues my wife Pat got for me. Used to love the book. She bought me a very nice copy and the statues for a Christmas present one year.
